The Macallan A NIGHT ON EARTH Highland Single Malt was created exclusively for New Year’s Eve, called “Hogmanay” in Scotland. It is produced in different casks of the distillery, which are supposed to remind of the usual Scottish treats on New Year’s Eve.
This whisky matures in a combination of first fill American ex-bourbon barrels and European and American sherry casks.
The gift packaging hints at the fireworks at the turn of the year. The design was created by the talented Japanese-French artist Erica Dorn.
Color: Amber.
Nose: Fruity, notes of vanilla, baked apples, prunes, toasted almonds.
Taste: Soft, fruity, notes of vanilla, figs, dried plums, cinnamon, cardamom, caramelized sugar, toffee.
Finish: Long lasting, caramel.
Alkohol: 43vol%
