The Glen Grant distillery was established in Rothes, Scotland, in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant. In 1872, James Grant’s son took over the distillery. Since 2006, it now belongs to the Campari Group. Campari is an Italian company that ranks among the sixth largest suppliers of spirits in the world. At the same time, Dennis Malcolm was appointed Master Distiller, celebrating 60 years in the Scotch whisky industry in 2021.
The Major’s Reserve bottling is with its 10 years, the youngest bottling of Glen Grant.
Inspired by James “The Major” Grant convinces this single malt with creamy fruity character and nutty-fresh finish.
Color: Light honey gold.
Nose: Soft, slightly dry, notes of delicate apples.
Taste: Fresh, creamy, hints of vanilla, apples.
Finish: Long lasting, hint of hazelnuts.
